The service carried out by civil engineering lecturers at the University of Lampung generally takes the form of outreach and technical assistance. Some of the service activities that have been carried out are as follows:
Socialization of the impact of the tsunami
Socialization activities for reducing the risk of earthquake and tsunami disasters through increasing the capacity of communities affected by disasters in Kunjir village, Rajabasa District, South Lampung Regency. The service was carried out by Aminuddin Syah, M.Eng. and Amril Ma'ruf Siregar, M.T, and friends from Environmental Engineering. The service was held on Thursday, September 8 2022. This activity was carried out because on December 22 2018 the village was hit by a tsunami disaster which caused loss of life and property.
