Course Learning Outcomes |
Student’s competencies: Being able to: 1. Explain and to describe measurements with base line and grid line, horizontal measurements with right angles and others, and vertical measurements (C1;3-C2;18) 2. Calculate items of construction and equipment costs (C3;16) 3. Make an operational sequence of project activities starting from earthworks, substructures, and superstructures to form a complete civil structure (C3;4) 4. Specify the main principles of building construction process and technology (concrete, steel and wood) such as road and tunnel, runway and railway, tower, bridge, irrigation and hydro structures as well as special buildings such as ports and marine structures (C4;17) 5. Prepare a simple design for the process of dismantling buildings or any other civil projects (C6;9) 6. Understand and to explain the functions of scaffolding and to calculate its strength (C2;10-C1;3-C3;16), 7. Understand and to explain the process of carrying out manual and mechanical concrete pouring as well as understanding and calculating the need for reinforcement and volume (C2;10-C1;3, C3;16) 8. Understand and to explain the implementation of prestressed concrete (C2;10-C1;3) 9. Understand and to explain building damage assessment (C2;10-C1;3)
