Student’s Competencies:

Being able to:

1.      Identify and to explain the concept of statically indeterminate structure analysis as well as its’ strengths and drawbacks (C1;6-C2;2)

2.      Analyze the the degree of static indeterminacy (C4;1)

3.      Analyze statically indeterminate beam and frame structures using Hardy-Cross method: one-storey with one span, one-storey with two spans, two-storey with one span, two-storey with two spans (C4;1)

4.      Analyze multi-storey frame system using Takabeya method (C4;1)

5.      Draw bending moment diagram (BMD), shear force diagram (SFD), and normal force diagram (NFD) of frame system with the emphasis on study case in civil engineering (C4;14)
